Monday 4th May
Good morning Room 8 - can you believe it is May already? I hope you and your families are all safe and well. I have uploaded this week's suggested learning to our Google classroom. Remember if you haven't joined yet to check your Glow emails for the invitation to join. Alongside my daily check in message on the school app, I also often like to give you a little extra challenge so make sure you keep an eye for those!
I am so proud of each and every one of you and looking forward to seeing what you all get up to this week!
Lots of love,
Monday 27th April
Good morning Room 8. I hope you had a lovely weekend. All learning ideas will now be put up on Google Classroom. If you have not joined Google Classroom yet, please log into your Glow and follow the link in your email. Please note that you do not need to complete all the activities on our class page but it is still a good idea to join to have a look and send a message to your peers.
Thanks for all your email updates. It has been wonderful to see what you have been getting up to - it looks like you are all having lots of fun! Remember that if you are in a routine for learning that is working for you (e.g. using Bitesize daily lessons) then do not feel pressured to swap over to using the Google Classroom. The most important thing for you all just now is to find a routine that works for you and your families that includes some learning but does not put any extra pressure or stress on anyone in your household. All of St Vincent's just want you safe and happy - that is the most important thing :)
Please ensure you have the school app downloaded and, if possible, please follow the school Twitter page (@EkVincents) to keep up to date with any fun learning and messages.
If you have any issues or want to get into contact, please email me on email@example.com.
Take care and stay safe,
Board Game Templates
I remember how creative and artistic you all are so I thought you would enjoy creating some of your own board games! I have attached some links to different board game templates that you can either print and draw/write on or you can edit them on the computer before printing. You may even just like to have a look at some of the different templates and use them as inspiration to create your own game completely from scratch! Whatever you choose to do, I know it will be amazing and they will all be wonderfully unique! As an extra challenge, you could even create a set of instructions or booklet to accompany your game. I hope you enjoy this activity, if you choose to do it, and have lots of fun playing your finished game with your family. When we return to school, you can even bring in your game to show your friends and we could have a little games afternoon!
